In 1950, Mr. Seth Heeralal Mithal and Mr. Maya Prakash Mithal and brothers began laying a strong foundation for the family enterprise. As the business expanded, it was divided between the two brothers, who took responsibility for managing and developing different aspects of the family enterprise, paving the way for the remarkable milestones achieved in the years that followed.

In 1955, the Real Estate Division was formed to expand into the real estate sector and acquired approximately 600 bighas of agricultural land. Out of this, nearly 400 bighas were dedicated to agricultural use. During this period, the division was actively involved in agricultural land purchase and sale activities, which were overseen under the management of Mr. Maya Prakash Mithal.

In 1959, the family established Heeralal & Sons Warehouse, which was developed exclusively as a customer storage facility. The warehouse enhanced the company's operational capabilities by providing secure storage services to its customers.

In 1960, Mr. Seth Heeralal Mithal, Mr. Maya Prakash Mithal, and brothers established Heeralal & Company. The business diversified and was engaged in both the brick kiln business and money lending operations. This provided financial assistance while contributing to the region's industrial and economic development, driving the company's growth.

In 1965, the family business achieved a significant milestone when the Mithal Family established Maya Prakash & Company. The company became the sole distributor of cement across the entire Western Uttar Pradesh region, marking a major step in the expansion of the business and establishing a strong presence across the region.

Mr. Trilok raj Mithal is a grandson of Late. Seth Heeralal Mithal who was renowned personality of Meerut. Grandfather of Mr. Trilok raj Mithal was a Farmer who owned more than 12 lacs square feet covered area in shape of warehouses and many other farms and orchids along with family business of Money Lending.

Late. Seth Heeralal Mithal constructed a hospital named ‘HEERA LAL HOSPITAL’ with the capacity of around 200 beds. The intention behind the construction was social service more than profit earning. Besides, this he had also purchased some land at the heart of the city, which was occupied by the government for the poor people. He was quite surprised that his dreams are coming true to serve the poor people. Seeing his potential after a long time government decided to pay compensation to him. As Late Seth Heeralal Mithal worked hard a lot, his son Late Maya Prakash Mithal father of Mr. Trilok raj Mithal was keen interest to support his father’s business. That’s why he was the Managing Director of the entire business.

Continuing the family legacy, Mr. Shikhar Mithal joined his father, Mr. Trilok Raj Mithal, in 2010. Armed with a specialization in International Trade and Marketing, he spearheaded the group's global expansion and diversified the business into new streams. Under his visionary leadership, the company ventured into the merchant trade of metal scrap, agricultural products, and petrochemicals. This led to the successful establishment of international trading arms like MPM Overseas Pte Ltd in Singapore and Hong Kong, and HLM Exim Corp Pte Ltd in the Cayman Islands, transforming the family business into a truly global enterprise with advanced techniques and innovation.
